Find out moreDesigned to last for more than 25 years, this Wallbarn Ipe Hardwood Timber Decking Tile provides a pleasing finish. Tiles can be laid in a straight line or a chessboard pattern, meeting your preferences and personal taste.
Selected for their stunning appearance and durability, an assortment of South American timbers is available. High in durability, Ipe or 'ironwood' from Brazil has a greenish-brown appearance. Its tight grain allows resistance to mildew, termites and rotting. Ipe also requires minimal maintenance and is incorporated considerably into marine and exterior constructions because of its fantastic water resistance. Not only this, but Ipe dries well and turns hard, requiring pre-drilling and a mechanical saw for cutting.
With suspended Wallbarn Timber Paving Tiles, you can mix the innate, pleasing finish of timber decking and the quick laying of paving slabs. Laying timber decking straight onto deck surfaces can result in costs for specialist carpenters, and the timber joists can harm the waterproofing membrane. To solve this, Wallbarn Timber Paving Tiles are ideal as the weight of the tile secures the system in place.
Without fixing anything to the deck, the suspended system raises the timber away from any standing water to prevent the risks of a slippery surface. You can also remove and replace tiles without disrupting the entire area in the event of inspection or maintenance, and any unpleasant drainage outlets, cables and pipes are concealed under the tiles and accessed without hassle.
