This protection mat shields the waterproofing membrane against abrasion, point loads, blunt objects, backfilling and concrete casting damage throughout construction. Able to function as a permanent protective barrier following completion, it can also significantly extend the membrane's lifespan.
Constructed in a non-rigid roll format, this membrane consists of recycled rubber crumb sourced from old tires for an eco-friendly and sustainable choice. With a blend of polyurethane resins, the rubber crumb particles are bound to prevent delamination caused by exposure to environmental conditions. Notably, this membrane possesses the strength to withstand concrete pours and the direct application of hot materials onto its surface.
Installation is straightforward due to the lightweight structure and non-toxic handling, especially with polyurethane or PVC single-ply membranes that can't be implemented alongside traditional bituminous protection boards. Perfect for protection across horizontal and vertical surfaces, this membrane is suited to applications like podium decks, green roofs, frequently traversed roofs, inverted roofs, parking areas, walkways and maintenance spaces, as well as underground waterproofing applications, including foundation walls, basements, drains, tunnels and ditches.
