Constructed from deep-drawn powder-coated and zinc-plated steel, this Ultrabait VR Station is both durable and secure. It features a shock and tamper-resistant lock with a high-tensile spring steel lock blade, ensuring your bait remains protected. The easy-access top key entry simplifies inspections with no need to touch anything but the key, and its hinged casing eliminates fiddly lift-off panels. Additionally, the raised warm-feel plastic trays inside create a welcoming environment for rodents. As a bonus, you can benefit from free printing on orders of 12 or more units.

For optimal results, place one bait station every 5 to 10 linear metres. For outdoor use, it is essential to place this Ultrabait VR unit in areas where rodent activity is evident, such as droppings or holes. To maximise its effectiveness, position it along known "rat runs" like walls, fence lines or hedgerows.

This Ultrabait VR Station comes equipped with two secure internal baiting rods suitable for all-weather bait blocks and a moulded bait tray ideal for grain or sachet bait. Once baited following the manufacturer's instructions, lock the station and monitor it at one-week intervals, topping up bait as needed. Leave it fully baited in place for a minimum of 30 days after the last sign of "bait take" to ensure complete eradication of the infestation. Always remember to wear gloves when handling rodenticides or removing dead rodents.

Installation

  • Open ground: For an open ground installation, use the optional ground anchor for secure placement. Remove the moulded inner tray, drive the anchor into the ground (after removing the securing bolt to prevent thread damage) and place a block of wood between the anchor and the hammer. Then, align the hole in the base of the bait station with the threaded hole in the top of the anchor. Secure the station to the anchor using the provided bolt and replace the moulded tray.
  • Masonry or metalled surface: If placing this Ultrabait VR Station on a masonry or metalled roadway surface, remove the moulded inner tray and fix it to the surface using plugs and screws through the pre-manufactured holes in the base of the chassis. Replace the mould interior after installation.
  • Securing against a wall or fence: When situating the bait station against a wall or fence, you have two wall plate options, either light-duty for spillage prevention or heavy-duty for added theft or vandalism deterrence.
