Not only does the Shire Bison Multi-Functional Shiplap Apex Workshop Shed provide ample space for storage, but with a minimum internal working height of 6ft, most people can walk and operate within their Workshop Shed in comfort. The apex roof is made from 12mm thick tongue and groove boards covered in a protective layer of roof felt, and the hardwearing floor comprises sturdy 16mm thick tongue and groove boards.

With heavy-duty 3-inch x 2-inch (70mm x 44mm) framing, much larger than Shire's standard framing, the Bison Multi-Functional Shiplap Apex Workshop Shed boasts tremendous strength and robustness. Assisting in protecting your Workshop Shed against the elements and enhancing its durability and longevity, the high-grade 12mm shiplap cladding will help protect it from rain and wind penetration. The timber used to construct this Workshop Shed is sourced from very slow grown, high grade, FSC approved European pine, which is treated with a protective basecoat. This basecoat means that all that is left for you to do is apply a protective topcoat upon installation.

If security is a high priority for you, the doors are fitted with a full-length piano (or continuous) hinge, perfect for supporting doors such as these. A lock and key are also provided to help protect your tools and equipment from theft. Thanks to their 3mm thick glass panels, the two opening windows are storm-resistant, meaning you are safe to work in all weathers.

• Imperial measurements are rounded, so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment.
• You will be sent a link to choose your delivery day following your order, and you will also receive live tracking information on the morning of your delivery day.
• Before you assemble your building, you will need a base that is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.
• Base note:
• Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square whether this is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. This ensures the building is level and stable and prevents excess strain on the panels that could lead to twisting / long term damage. The building staying level also means the panels will fit squarely together, prevent gaps and ensuring doors close correctly.
• Timber note:
• A good quality timber garden building starts with good quality timber. The most commonly used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are constructed using high quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and provides a higher quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means a tighter grain, less sap and with far less knots and warping occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not affect the performance of your Garden Building.
