This Western Red Cedar Wood Roof Shingle Ridge and Hip Cap is ideal for use at hips and ridges, offering coverage of 94.4mm per ridge at a 14° to 21° pitch and 125mm per ridge at a 22° to 89° pitch. Pre-formed for quick and easy installations, it can be fitted with four 2.65 x 41mm stainless steel annular ring shank nails and fixed alternately as the same gauge as the roof.

In contrast, Shakes are meticulously hand-split from cedar blocks along the wood's natural grain before being resawn for a uniform, smooth surface.
